Functions, events, AND BOOKINGS
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Functions with set menus must be prepared in advance.
1a. Set menus are only available to whole groups.
1b. All dietary requirements are to be confirmed in advance.
Without due notice, a substitute meal cannot be guaranteed.
1c. Set menus are priced according to anticipated number of guests.
The customer will be advised of the final date to adjust number of guests.
1d. Fewer guests present on the day of the event may not be eligible for reduced cost.
It is at the discretion of management whether the arranged total will be altered.
A deposit may be required to confirm an upcoming function.
2a. The amount paid as a deposit will be subtracted from the total cost of the
function on the day.2b. Significant changes to or cancellations of a function must be communicated
to management a minimum of 7 calendar days prior to the original event date.2c. Significant changes to or cancellations of a function within 7 days to 72 hours
of original event date may be eligible to a refund of up to 50% of the deposit amount.2d. Significant changes to or cancellations of a function made within 72 hours
prior to the original event date will forfeit entitlement to any refund of the deposit.No meals served during a function are to be taken off premises.
3a. Management has no obligation to provide containers or other takeaway options.
One celebration cake can be brought by the customer, free of charge.
4a. Bringing more than one cake/dessert may incur a surcharge.
4b. Candles and lighters may not be available from staff.
Customers should bring their own candles and lighters to be sure.
4c. Candles are not to be lit for long periods of time (i.e. longer than it takes to
sing happy birthday and take photos).
4d. Sparklers are strictly prohibited.
4e. Any fines associated with falsely triggering the fire alarm with sparklers or
candles will be passed on in full to the customer.
Functions may be seated anywhere in the auditorium, or moved without prior notice.
5a. The back room (or ‘function room’) may, at any time, be required by a
different booking. A smaller function may be moved into the main room if needed.
5b. Although all efforts will be made to promptly and accurately convey
seating arrangements, table allocation is ultimately at the discretion of management.
Decorations are welcome and are to be supplied by the customer.
6a. Early access to the function space to set up decorations is available a
maximum of one hour prior to the agreed function arrival time.6b. Set up of decorations at any other time must be discussed with and receive explicit
permission from management to guarantee access.6c. Decorations must not leave excessive mess on tables or floors.
Confetti (including confetti inside balloons), party poppers, and glitter are all
examples of inappropriate decor.
6d. The customer may use things such as blu-tack to attach decorations to the wall.
Fixtures must not damage paint.
6e. Customers that leave any mess or damage with decorations may be
charged a cleaning fee.
